Petit Village is a top Pomerol estate with a wine that is sterner, more similar to the Medoc than its neighbours; partly because it was styled by Bruno Pats and Jean Michel Cazes. In 2005 they appointed Stephane Derencourt as consultant and built a new wine cellar. The wine is more luscious and requires less ageing.
